Gotham Knights combat system has been “completely redesigned” for co-op play

Warner Bros. Montreal reveals details about future follow-up to Batman: Arkham game Gotham Knights, Revealed that the characteristic combat of the series has been slightly revised in line with the trends of game co-operatives.

Regarding GamesRadar, executive producer Fleur Marty said, “We’ve completely redesigned the combat system to work well in co-op. Of course, we’re still fighters and some mechanics are completely. I don’t feel foreign. For those who enjoyed playing the Arkham series, but in many ways it’s very different. “

This is not the only fine-tuning of the formula. The game will allow players to seamlessly drop in and out in the open world Gotham City as one of four playable characters: Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin, and Red Hood. One will automatically level up even if you aren’t playing as them, and your enemies will scale to your level. This allows you to switch characters freely without worrying about running out of power, even if you choose a hero with a lower level or a hero with a lower level. Play regularly, like when you join a friend’s session.

“The other members of the Batman Family are always somehow in the background, so they don’t stay inactive while you’re fighting crime or solving mysteries,” says Marty. .. “So it makes sense that they are also progressing and becoming stronger.”

Gotham Knights Currently scheduled for release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, and PC in 2021, you can see the August Gameplay Walkthrough below.
