Grand Theft Auto V online mode gets a major update for Cayo Perico Heist this week. This adds a whole new social space and lots of new material, including a huge radio update detailing it. The game has added five new radio stations and involves several major artists.
The Rockstar Newswire post details each of the new channels. The first, Still Slipping Los Santos, will be directed by British DJ Joy Orbison and will feature techno and house beats. This is like a pirate radio station and will lead to some of the new missions coming to GTA Online-“He’s struggling to get a signal strong enough to reach beyond the neighborhood. He. If he intends to take his healthy city and throughout the state, he will need some help to get started, “the post said.
The next station is Kult FM 99.1 hosted by Julian Casablancas. It features many throwback tracks from Joy Division, New Order, The Velvet Underground and more, as well as guest appearances from Mac DeMarco, David Cross and Tony Mack. Music rockers, on the other hand, feature a variety of club tracks at the time of their debut.
FlyLoFM is Flying Lotus’ new station, featuring artists such as Madlib, MF Doom, and “Unusual, Exclusive, Amazing Bunch of Surprise”. Finally, Worldwide FM is by DJ Gilles Peterson, a mix of disco and world music.
All of these have already been added to GTA Online’s vast list of stations and tracks. This new update adds over 250 new music tracks to the game.
All of this will be part of a huge update that should keep fans alive until GTAV and the online PS5 and Xbox Series X versions arrive in late 2021.
