Have you ever played … Hitman 2?

Of course, it’s great to plan an airtight approach and carry it out without sweating, but that’s not a real pleasure. Hitman’s happiness is in Plan B when you have to deal with the mistakes you made or the situation you put in Agent 47.

Sure, it’s not ideal to be discovered by someone and realize that your only defense is a seemingly very large pocketed squeaky toy, but how did you pull back the mission’s nailing failure? The story is ultimately worth it.

Hitman in 2016 was more talked about than the sequel — the restart was a polarized, more linear Hitman: it happened after Absolution, so you can understand why it made a bigger splash — assassination Win after a violent turmoil that introduces a mysteriously brand new audience trying to push you out. Some people, like Hitman 2, might have been looking for more innovation from extensions, but I wasn’t. When all hope was lost, I longed for the familiar feeling of pulling things back from the brink.

In addition, some of its maps are undoubtedly in Sapienza and Hokkaido in this world. Miami, for example, is a great playground with potential and can offer much more than just an F1 race track if you have a nose around. The peaceful suburbs of Whittleton Creek are ripe for the devil. And Sgàil Island is a dense environment, with lots of solutions to try and lots of amazing and weird stuff.

I also enjoyed Ian-vs-Ian multiplayer. I know why it wasn’t popular enough in the end because I didn’t come to Hitman for the highest quality esports action, but I thought the five kills format from the beginning was a bit of a good idea.

If you enjoyed its predecessor, you will enjoy Hitman 2. It’s more hitman. And that’s a good thing.
