HBO’s Green Light Last of Us Series

The Last of Us received a green light from HBO.

According to The Hollywood Reporter Last of us This will move you to the production environment.

In March, it was announced that the title developed by Naughty Dog would acquire its own HBO series. It is led by Craig Mazin of Chernobyl and the executive who wrote the executive producer Neil Druckmann.

Druckmann and Mazin will be executive producers with Carolyn Strauss (Chernobyl, Game of Thrones), Naughty Dog’s Evan Wells, and PlayStation Productions’ Qizilbash and Carter Swan.

STwenty years after the destruction of modern civilization, the series focuses on the events of the original game.

“Craig and Neil have their own league foresight,” said Francesca Orsi, HBO Programming Executive VP. “The series, which they lead with the incomparable Carolyn Strauss, will resonate with both the enthusiastic fans of The Last of Us games and the newcomers to the story that defines the genre.

“We are pleased to partner with Naughty Dog, Word Games, Sony and PlayStation to embrace this epic and powerful immersive story.”

This show is produced by Sony Pictures Television in collaboration with PlayStation Productions.
