High Stakes: Mama Tabanerjee camps in Nandiglam as West Bengal’s biggest battle enters the final round

West Bengal Prime Minister Mamata Banerjee

West Bengal Election 2021: Phase 1 polling is over and the focus is now shifting to the Nandigram where the Prime Minister is sitting. Mama Tabanergie Taking over her former lieutenant, now BJP Candidate for Svendu Adikari. To win what is currently considered Bengal’s biggest battle, Mama Tabanerjee has decided to camp in Nandigram for the next three days starting on Sunday. Nandygram will vote in the second phase of April 1st. Over the next three days, the TMC Chief will hold seven rallies, including two road shows on Monday and Tuesday. Today, the Prime Minister will address a rally in Bilria, the same place where he was injured two weeks ago.

Nandigram is now a battle of fame for both Mama Tabanerjee and Svendu Adikari. Nandygram is the birthplace of the historic land movement that brought Mama Tabanerjee into power by defeating the Left in 2011. Svendu Adikari was the face of the movement and became one of Banerjee’s most trusted lieutenants. But since then, a lot of water has flowed – friends are now enemies.

Svendu is Nandigram’s sitting MLA, which won 67.20 percent of the votes in 2016. Nandygram is a springboard for Adikari who is confident of winning with over 50,000 votes. Meanwhile, TMC states that all votes received by Adhikari in 2016 were in the name of TMC and its leader, Mamata Banerjee.

Interior Minister Suvendu Adhikari Amit Shah A large road show will be held at Nandigram on Tuesday, March 30th. The turnout of Muslims in Nandigram is 30%, which is the average voter turnout of the minority in the state. While Banerjee used a lot of minority votes, Suvendu publicly stated that Mamata would lose votes with more than 50,000 votes. Adhikari is from a politician who enjoys significant influence in the East Midnapore district. The Nandigram Assembly segment is part of the Medinipur district. Adikari knew his position well, and Mamata didn’t care much about the territory because he had a major commander in charge of Nandigram.

On Saturday, BJP released an audio tape that Mamata Banersey allegedly called the BJP leader and sought his help to win Nandigram. “You should help us win Nandigram. You see, I know you have some complaints, but it’s mostly that I get into Nandigram or East Midnapore. It is due to Adikari who never forgave me. I will take care of everything in the future, “Banergey is said to have told BJP’s official Praraypal. However, BJP leaders refused to go with Mamata and said he could not betray Adikari. “Didi, you called me, and I’m honored, but Adhikaris has supported me from thick to thin, so I can’t betray,” he says in a PTI audio clip. I heard that.

BJP, who also posted an audio clip on Twitter’s steering wheel, claims that the disclosure reflects Mamata’s tensions prior to her particular defeat. TMC, on the other hand, defends it as Mamata’s clear conscience. Nonetheless, development shows how close the battle with high stakes members, where Suvendu undoubtedly exerts significant influence, is. The results of the April 1 vote may determine the fate of BJP and Mamata in the state on May 2.
