4K and 60fps confirmed on Series X and PS5.
The third location of Hitman 3 was unveiled for the first time today-and it’s Chongqing, China.
Developer IO Interactive has created a neon-lit city version that unveils the brighter next-generation visuals of Hitman 3. When drops drip on the sides of Agent 47’s bald head, it all looks particularly nice at night and in the rain.
According to IO, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and compatible PCs all run Hitman 3 at 4K and 60fps with HDR support.
Welcome to Chongqing, a new place to appear in HITMAN 3. In addition, let’s take a closer look at the Glacier engine, the technology that powers HITMAN3.

Chongqing joins two previously revealed locations. Dubai with hundreds of on-screen NPCs at a time and Dartmoor, with 47 people involved in an Agatha Christie-style murder mystery.
Last week, IO revealed even bigger news: it will win a 007 license and make the next James Bond game. The project will start at some point after Hitman 3 arrives in January 2021.
