If you tell Adler the truth at the end of the identity crisis and choose to complete the final countdown, destroy the Perseus base before activating Project Greenlight.
This overturns Perseus’ plans, prevents nuclear weapons from exploding, and saves millions of lives.
After completing the mission, Adler will accompany Bell to a second location and ask him to make one final sacrifice before pointing his weapon at Bell.
If you choose to lie to Adler at the end of the identity crisis, but don’t use the radio to adjust the ambush of Adler’s team (because you chose not to do so, or unlock the section behind the safehouse) (Because it wasn’t), Bell will accompany the team to Duga.
Unfortunately, there is no Perseus reinforcements to back up Bell, so after confessing that he intentionally sent the team to the wrong place, the player is killed by Adler.
If you choose to lie to Adler at the end of the identity crisis and then immediately use the radio in the locked section of the safehouse, set up a Perseus ambush for Adler’s team.
Between Ash to Ash, when Woods confronts Bell about a lie, you have an additional dialogue option that tells Adler that he shouldn’t have crossed you.
After the appearance of Perseus reinforcements, Bell kills Adler and his team. A man known as “Perseus” calls the base and calls for the preparation of nuclear weapons before handing the radio to Bell.
Bell then detonates a nuclear weapon and calls on him to leave with Perseus.
