How to set notification summary on iOS 15 – NFL Sports

If you receive 1 million app notifications a day and become insensitive to important notifications, iOS 15’s notification overview feature is likely to be your new best friend. Apple officially released iOS 15 on September 20, 2021.

Notification Summary allows you to focus on apps that are “always confused for important but overwhelming reasons” and receive a notification summary report to see when you make your choice. By default, reports are retrieved twice a day, but you can choose to view them anywhere from once to 12 times a day.

Follow this step-by-step guide to get personalized app updates in a format that doesn’t cause headaches right away.

If you are setting up a summary for the first time, the next screen should also be very simple. There is only one toggle button. When you tap it and see it turn green, you’ll see an Apple pop-up instruction box.

The default screen shows the time options for the first and second day summaries. Select a time and tap the red minus button if you want only one summary per day, or the blue plus button if you need more than one per day.

5. Select the app you want to summarize

The next screen shows the apps that you can include in your daily overview. This includes both system apps such as Phone and Messages and downloaded apps such as Instagram and TikTok.

If the app you want to include in the overview doesn’t appear in the list, make sure that the individual app allows you to send notifications. To see this, go back to your general notification settings and scroll down to your specific app.
