Interim program for State Conference 2021 is now available

The Victorian Transport Association (VTA) has released a provisional program for State Conference 2021.

This event is “crammed” with all freight and logistics industry stakeholders that carriers need to hear to learn about the theme of this year’s conference, “What’s Before the Transportation Industry.”

“Among the more than 30 presenters lined up to accommodate representatives are the Federal and Victorian Ministers of Roads, Transport and Freight, and vice versa, senior representatives of major states and national roads, safety and freight authorities. There are road and rail infrastructure organizations, suppliers, and representatives covering major prime movers, equipment and technology manufacturers, etc., “said Peter Anderson, CEO of VTA.

“A year after our ability to meet was severely restricted, VTA became a transportation infrastructure, security, HR, labor relations, and regulatory reform.”

The main speakers are as follows.

  • Scott Buchholtz, Deputy Minister for Road Safety and Freight Transport
  • Ben Carroll, Minister of Road and Road Safety, Victoria
  • Federal Shadow Assistant Minister, Senator Glenstal
  • Victorian Shadow Harbor and Cargo Minister, Rome Britner
  • NHVR CEO, Sal Petroccitto
  • Freight Victoria CEO, Praveen Reddy
  • Victorian wage inspector Robert Hortle

“This is arguably one of our best presenter lineups. It is the willingness of industry leaders, despite the uncertainty of updating representatives on border restrictions and the major issues facing them. Thank you to all the presenters. We encourage you to join us directly or online for their time and commitment, and for all or part of the meeting. ” Anderson said.
