Beauty entrepreneur Eileen Forte, daughter of hotel owner Sir Rocco Forte, is expanding her luxury skin care business by £ 5 million.
Later this month, 33-year-old Forte launches her Irene Forte skincare brand through Goop, a multi-million-dollar beauty and lifestyle company founded by actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
From spring, her range will also be on sale at eight flannel and Fraser stores that are part of Sports Direct’s founder Mike Ashley’s business empire.
Target: Irene Forte hopes her brand will reach £ 2m in annual sales by next year.
She will also open a flagship store and spa in Kensington or Notting Hill, West London.
After graduating from Oxford University, Forte engaged in the family hotel business, eventually running spas and consultants at hotels throughout Europe.
She founded a skin care company in 2018 to develop products made in Italy using natural ingredients.
The Rocco Forte Hotel Group is owned by Sir Rocco, 76, with a majority and 15 percent.
Investor Barry Jones has the option of owning up to 30 percent as he builds his holdings from the first £ 600,000 up to £ 5 million over the next five years.
From moisturizers to lip balms, Forte’s nine products range in price from £ 21 to £ 139. She hopes her annual sales will reach £ 1m by September and then double in the next 12 months.
