Production is scheduled to begin in March 2021.
We knew there was a sequel to the Sonic the Hedgehog movie, but Paramount Pictures shared more information about the next movie, including the tentative release date of April 8, 2022.
As reported in the comic book, the sequel (codenamed “Emerald Hill”) will begin production in mid-March 2021 and will end by May 10, 2021.
It’s unclear if James Marsden, Jim Carrey, and Sonic voice actor Ben Schwartz will also return to the sequel, and the linked source website’s comic book (Creative BC Film Commission) lists the information. Not so please create it what you do.
As Emma summarized when the sequel was released, it actually worked pretty well when the first movie was finally released late to work on a (significantly improved) redesign: The weekend opening for video game adaptation, which generated £ 76.6 million on the first weekend and was the best ever.
Daisuke Sato, the producer of Ryu Hong Studio, recently hinted that he would like to be involved in the Sonic the Hedgehog game “at least once.”
In an interview celebrating Sega’s 60th anniversary, Sato was asked what Sega IP he wanted to get the most. Given the breadth of Sega’s back catalog, that’s not an easy question, but Sato went straight to the company’s big event franchise and mascot, Sonic.
