“Night Train” wants to be a must-see TV for fight fans.
Jared’Nitetrain’Gooden will return to the octagon for the fourth time this weekend. He couldn’t get the best start to start his UFC career and lost the first two in a unanimous decision. But he announced his existence in his final battle. At ESPN: Hall vs. Strickland’s UFC in July, he knocked out Niklas Stolze in just over a minute.
That was the performance he was looking for. Prior to joining the UFC, Guden was a finisher. He won six submissions with seven knockouts and 17 wins, and only accessed the judges’ scorecards four times.
“Night Train” is an exciting fighter and he wants more fans to make it happen. He really wants to reach a point in his career where fans stop doing what they are doing to see his fight.
“I’m one of the fighters I join to kill the guy and it takes 15 minutes to get it done. That’s the difference between me and everyone else. I just don’t want to get the job done. End I want to. If a fan knows that I’m on the card, I’d like to let the fan do it. ” Said Reporter during UFC Vegas 39 Media Day. “Will they be like” Oh, Jared “Night Train” fighting? Stop! “
Gooden told the media that he was at a wedding for his friend, but he and his fighting companions were too busy watching the rematch between Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz.
“I want my fans to do that. You know what I’m saying? I was at the wedding, my boy [was getting married] And I’m watching the fight. I want the fans to do it. That’s the standard I set myself, “says Gooden.
Well, he has a perfect match for fans to watch their TV. He fought Randy Brown in a joint main event and both men have more than 10 finishes among them.
