Ginder Mahal, who has been inactive since late April 2020, returned to the ring on Friday afternoon to attend the main event of Superstar Spectacle, a two-hour broadcast in India on Tuesday.
The former WWE champion has just returned from 10 months due to a knee injury after finishing a low match against Akira Tozawa. Mahal had to have another surgery on the same knee, hopefully to solve the one-off problem.
Mahal is Canadian but of Indian descent and was used to team up with the Bollywood Boys against Drew McIntyre and Indusshire at the show’s main event. This was also McIntyre’s first match since he was diagnosed with the coronavirus three weeks ago.
The show will air on the WWE Network at 9:30 AM Eastern Standard Time for those who do not live in India.
