Kansas continues to harvest sorghum, soybeans, cotton and sunflowers

Harvesting continues throughout Kansas, with ideal weather conditions for almost a week.

According to the latest crop progress report, it contains 96% of soybeans.

The condition of winter wheat is estimated to be good to good at 62% and 96% of the crops have emerged.

The harvested sorghum is 97 percent.

The cotton harvest is 70% complete, 10% behind last year.

95% of the sunflowers were harvested.

Pasture and range conditions are rated as 38% better.
