Kirby and the Forgotten Land will be released exclusively for Nintendo Switch in the spring of 2022. Perhaps in an unlikely event, is this a 3D game played in a post-apocalyptic setting? Even if it’s not what you expected, I think it looks pretty good. Pre-ordering is now possible (See it on amazon).
Read on to see where you can lock your pre-order and how much it will cost. If a pre-order bonus is added at a later date, that information is also available here. Without difficult stories …
Pre-order the star Kirby and the forgotten land
So far, Kirby and Forgotten Land can only be pre-ordered on Amazon. It will be published at other retail stores, so add it to the list.
What is Kirby and the Forgotten Land?
At the time of this writing, there isn’t much to go on, but based on the first trailer, it shows a world very similar to us, but the buildings and public spaces are overgrown with vegetation. Animals roam freely, but humans seem to be nowhere. Cutting into the waves crashing on the beach, Kirby wakes up on the sand as if it had been washed ashore.
Later, Kirby wandered into the grassy cityscape, destroying parts of the road, destroying the walls of some buildings, and littering with rubble and rebar. Despite the obvious destruction, animals and standard Kirby enemies appear. Music is still a typical bright, fun type from previous non-apocalyptic Kirby games.
And perhaps most strangely, the whole colorful world is 3D. This is the first time I’ve got a full 3D Kirby platformer. It’s like Mario moving to 3D in the 90’s and Dylan moving to electricity in the 1960s. That’s a big problem for Kirby fans for many years.
