Game Awards 2020 is officially in the book. This year’s show, which aired on Thursday, features the latest game releases, announcements, and, of course, actual awards.
Every year, we’re always curious about what Nintendo brings to the table. This time, the Big N really had only one announcement: Sephiroth is coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Capcom actually had quite a bit of Switch news to share between the Ghost N Goblin Revival, Capcom Arcade Stadium, and Monster Hunter Rise (get new trailers and upcoming demos). The Sea of Solitude had several other Switch announcements. Director’s Cut, Shady Part of Me, Endless Dungeon, Evil Dead: The Game.
It’s been a few days since The Game Awards, what do you think of the show? What did you think of the announcement and the winners? Please let us know in the comments below.
Highlights of last week’s topic: What are you playing? – December 2020
Play Dark Arms: Beast Buster on my NGPC now. This is a pretty cool game where you can kill monsters, basically take their souls and feed them into guns and weapons to evolve. It’s not necessarily a difficult game, but sometimes it’s a bit dull. In addition, some weapons can be very powerful, making certain bosses a little irrelevant. But yeah, it’s a really cool game and I love playing it on the original hardware.
Also, GBA’s Earthworm Jim will be emailed next week, so it’s fun to come back again. I’m trying to get into the Gunstar Heroes game, so I’ll probably also choose Gunstar Super Heroes for the GBA. We’re also trying to find a Metal Slug second mission for NGPC at a cheap price, but all the copies we’ve found so far are ridiculous.
We are still waiting for a copy of the Age of Calamity. I was going to ask Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 and Baron Bubble Bobble to come back on holiday, but I decided to get it myself later. Also, one of them is currently difficult to obtain.
Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon, Blade of Light, and Fire Emblem Awakening.
