LifeBank, a healthcare technology and logistics company, has announced a medical oxygen plant in the Karu municipal area of Nasarawa in collaboration with Oxygen Hub.
LifeBank CEO Timie Giwa-Tunbosun said the project is the company’s initiative aimed at meeting the country’s oxygen needs.
Giwa-Tunbosun said the oxygen plant produces 700 cubic meters of medical oxygen daily.
“We built this facility to meet the needs of the entire hospital in the country,” she said.
Effeson Hailemichael, CEO of Oxygen Hub, said his company recognizes the potential of an initiative to solve the domestic oxygen deficiency, and thus investment in oxygen plants.
Lieutenant Governor Emmanuel Akabe of Nasalawa praised Lifebank for opening a medical oxygen plant in the state, saying the gesture timely takes into account the high demand for oxygen in hospitals. It was.
