Link Manufacturing, a producer of specially designed suspensions and a Tier 1 supplier to major heavy commercial truck manufacturers, has announced plans to begin construction of a new 50,000-square-foot manufacturing and training facility.

It is scheduled to be completed in December.

The four new Plant facilities will be located on the Sioux Center campus in Link, Iowa and will be connected to the Plant 3 building.

Link introduced the Cabmate Premium Cab Suspension in 1980.

The company said the new space will allow it to add and reconfigure manufacturing cells to accommodate a wide range of new product lines. The Plant 4 Space will also assist Link to pay more attention to the engineering and manufacturing of suspension control technology.

Link maintains engineering and manufacturing facilities in Nisku, Alberta, in addition to Sue Center’s headquarters. The company currently employs more than 200 people, and the expansion is expected to employ up to 50 additional workers. — Transport topic
