Takumi Minamino got off to a good start by beating Selhurst Park’s Crystal Palace 7-0 with Liverpool’s best performance of the season before Christmas.
The Japanese scored an opening goal with a great finish and easily put in his best performance in the campaign.
But since then he hasn’t been given a minute by Jurgen Klopp.
This would be understandable if the team was firing. After all, Minamino isn’t better than Mosara, Sadio Mané, and Roberto Firmino, but Front 3 is happy to deceive West Brom, Newcastle, and Taki.
We think it’s a little weird and a little tough, and does nothing for his confidence.
Minamino isn’t Liverpool’s biggest concern so far-getting back on track-but it’s still great that the January signature of last year plays a role.
It doesn’t look like his boss is crazy about him, but he’s 100% sure he’ll face Aston Villa at the FA Cup next weekend.
Minamino scored the opening goal after Liverpool defeated the Palace 7-0 and played for 90 minutes.
We don’t play a minute of the next three games that seem useless on top.
It’s a little tough, isn’t it?

It’s a little strange that we haven’t seen anything from Minamino since the palace won.

It’s confusing that Takumi Minamino has been an unused substitute in three games since then, after the tall Crystal Palace. Diogo Jota should be back by the end of January to ease the burden, and Minamino deserves more opportunities. #awlfc [@JamesPearceLFC]

Minamino started and played against Crystal Palace, which hasn’t continued since then.
Jota will play in a nonsensical friendly match and will play until the end of January.
Our front 3 looks indifferent, but that’s a concern.
I desperately need a CB.
Klopp needs to fix this as soon as possible.

Minamino’s management is also confused to say the least. It provides impressive performance and will be dropped for the following three games. How do you expect him to really kick when he hasn’t even been given a chance after playing well … pic.twitter.com/RHMpiWzuTN

I can’t believe I messed up Minamino’s career and sold a little shirt

Minamino is good at the palace and haven’t seen it for a minute since then? I don’t know what Ox did to justify starting over from him.
— Rory Greenfield (@RoryGreenfield) January 4, 2021
I would like to mention that Minamino has played against Crystal Palace and has not played any of the next 270 minutes of football.
He was on the bench all the time.
I can’t even speak.

If you haven’t played Minamino in the last two games after scoring and don’t bring Minamino now when you need a goal, sell him. Absolute joke. Horrible management with crops.

Why did you buy Takumi Minamino to increase shirt sales in Japan? It’s been a year with us and it’s certainly enough time to learn the system. He understands he can’t start, but why not use him when one of the front three is struggling in the absence of Jota?
