Marina Rodriguez Eliminate the turmoil in the UFC 257, but it’s not without it.

Rodriguez (13-1-2 MMA, 3-1-2 UFC) has finally finished Amanda Rivas With a TKO 54 seconds after the second round, that wouldn’t have happened without controversy.

Rodriguez walked away as the annoying Rivas leaned out of the mat. At the moment of turmoil, Dean informed Rodriguez that the fight was still going on. Rodriguez moved to his opponent again. After a few punches, she finished the fight with a standing TKO.

With a victory, Rodriguez gets her first in three battles. After starting his UFC career 2-0-1, Rodriguez drew to Cynthia Calviro and lost to Carla Esparza to 0-1. The Brazilian has won six overall battles within distance.

Entering the battle, Rivas was nailed to many as one of the UFC’s up-and-coming female stars. Defeat is the first under the flag of her promotion and only the second in her career. Her previous defeat took place against Polyanaviana in November 2015.
