Let’s take a quick look at what happened on Daral Street today.

Are the bulls on Daral Street invincible? It seems after the BSE benchmark Sensex recorded a 10th straight rise on Tuesday. All the sales on the market have been bought by bulls, and bears are worried.

On Tuesday, the BSE index added 261 points, bringing the 10-day rise to 2,884 points or 6.33 percent. Nifty closed the day near 14,200.

In the case of Sensex, Axis Bank surged 6% and HDFC, IndusInd Bank and TCS surged 2-3%. IT stocks rose most of the way ahead of the kickstart of the earnings season later in the week.

In the broader market, Rail Vikas Nigam and InfoEdge each rose 14%. Just dial advanced 10 percent. MRPL, Polycab and Aavas Financiers added 8-9%.

We caught up with Ajit Mishra of Religare Broker and learned what could stop the ongoing market backlash.

Welcome to the show, Mishra:

1) Do you think the surge in US virus incidents and the blockade in Japan could re-emerge virus concerns in the market?

2) What are your expectations from the fiscal year ending in the third quarter?

The technical chart closely tracks decisions just below the Nifty 50’s main resistance level of 14,200. Analysts said decisive moves beyond resistance levels could open up even higher goals.

We spoke with Rohit Singre, Senior Technical Analysts at LKP Securities, about decoding daily charts.

Welcome to the show Mr Singre.

1) Daytime sales at Nifty are bought daily. What is supporting this rally in terms of technical indicators?

2) Nifty Bank has ruled near high levels for 52 weeks. Does the technical chart suggest a further upswing?

Globally, other Asian markets ended almost high while the European market was trading mixed in the first few hours of trading. US stock futures have risen.

That’s all for now. Check out ETMarkets.com for all the news, market analysis, investment strategies, and dozens of recommended stocks. Enjoy the night. Bye bye!
