Marvel Contest of Champions will hold a fan vote to determine which characters will be added to the roster in 2021 | Article

Kabam’s popular fighting game Marvel Contest of Champions will hold a fan vote in 2021 to decide which hero to add to the game from a pre-determined list. This is called the Summoners’ Choice Champion Voting and will start on November 9th.

There will be a series of rounds to determine the character chosen, and the winner will be announced on December 10th to celebrate the game’s 6th anniversary. You can choose from eight different heroes, including:

  • Okoye
  • Hercules
  • Morbius
  • Dazzler
  • Blue marvel
  • Omega Sentinel
  • Iron Heart
  • Morgan le Fay

The first round of voting, The 8 Hopefuls, begins on November 9th and lasts until the 13th. During this period, players will vote for the preferred champion until the final day of voting at 10 am (Pacific Standard Time). The four characters with the most votes will advance to the next round.

The second round – The Fabulous 4 – will then take place between November 16th and 20th, with the two most popular champions advancing to the final round, Only 2 Remain. Voting for the final round will be from November 23rd to 27th, and the winner will eventually be a playable character during 2021.

Once the vote is taken, players will receive an in-game message from which they can choose their favorite champion. They also need to think carefully, as they only have one vote per week. Kabam also states that all of these characters will eventually be added to the game, but only one of them will be added in 2021.

The Marvel Contest of Champions is available on the App Store and Google Play. This is a game that you can play for free with an in-app purchase.
