Matt Barnes and Kenny Thomas join the Kings broadcast team – NBA Sports

NS Sacramento Kings Thursday afternoon, the next season’s NBC Sports coverage team announced that it will feature some new faces.

It was previously announced that Kaite Kristensen Hunter will replace Doug Christie as the team’s new game analyst after Mark Jones.

Kyle Draper continues to fill in for Jones, while maintaining his hosting obligations when he leaves.

Thomas played with Kings for a total of six seasons from 2004 to 2010. After his playing career, Thomas owned and operated the restaurant El Rey across the street. From the Golden 1 Center before closing in early 2019.

In addition, Morgan Ragan will join the coverage team to host both pre-match and post-match shows with Draper. Ragan is a former Stockton Kings game analyst and has extensive experience in Sacramento’s media industry, including hosting KHTK 1140 and reporting on CW 31’s “Good Day Sacramento.”

The first broadcast featuring part of this crew was by Kings. Lakers At the pre-season finale.
