Michigan’s new FSA and Rural Development Director nominated

The Biden administration has appointed a new director to lead the Michigan Agricultural Services Agency and Rural Development.

Tim Bowling, a crop farmer in central Michigan, will lead the FSA as executive director of the state. Boring is the founder and president of Michigan Agriculture Advancement and a former vice president of the Michigan Agri-Business Association. He was also a member of the Michigan Agricultural and Rural Development Commission and Head of Research for the Michigan Soybean Commission.

Brandon Fewins is the head of rural development. He has been working as US Senator Debbie Stabenow’s Northern Michigan Regional Manager for the past 20 years and is an advisor to the US Senator Agricultural Commission.
