Microsoft Flight Simulator coming to Xbox Series X / S next summer • .net

I’ve been enjoying it on my PC for almost half a year now, but with the game coming to the Xbox Series X / S in the summer of 2021, the release window for Microsoft Flight Simulator on Xbox is finally complete. Of course, it’s available on the Xbox Game Pass on the release date.

I saw a short video of a game running on Xbox Series X, announced at the Game Awards. It’s a difficult game to run on a PC, but the Xbox Series X trailer certainly looks great.

“The Xbox Series X / S Shimmer can be expected to have the same level of depth as the PC version, giving you the most authentic and realistic flight simulator you’ve ever created,” said Microsoft Flight Simulator director. One Jorg Neumann said in a blog post. I think we have to wait to find out what that technically really means.

The blog post states that Microsoft will work with several third-party partners to bring additional peripherals to the Xbox Series X / S. This seems good news for flight stick fans. The Xbox One version of Microsoft Flight Simulator isn’t mentioned.

Created by Asobo Studio, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 was released on PC on August 18, this year and is now included in the Xbox Game Pass for PC. It won the Essential, which Martin Robinson described as “a technical wonder, education and quest for the joy of flight.”
