Milk futures, cash dairy trading mixed

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange ended the week as rising prices for whey, butter and skim milk powder counteracted lower prices for cash cheese.

December Class III milk fell a cent at $ 18.48. January was down 36 cents to $ 19.25. February 24 cents down to $ 19.70. In March, it was $ 19.76, down 9 cents. From April to June, it is 7 cents lower and 8 cents higher.

Dry whey costs $ 0.0175, which is $ 0.73. One sale was made at that price.

Block down $ 0.0375 for $ 1.8875. One sale was made at that price.

The barrel is $ 0.0150, which is $ 1.63. Six transactions were made from $ 1.6275 to $ 1.6325.

Butter up $ 0.0025 for $ 2.0925. Eight transactions were made from $ 2.0925 to $ 2.0975.

Non-fat milk powder rose $ 0.0125 at $ 1.6775. Three transactions were made from $ 1.67 to $ 1.6775.
