August 20th marks the fifth anniversary of Nate Diaz vs. Conor McGregor 2, the fourth-largest battle in UFC history. Go back to the clock when it happened in 2016. It’s the biggest pay-per-view in UFC history, losing the Habib Nurmagomedov vs. Conor McGregor in 2018 and the two Conor McGregor vs. Dustin Poirier battles in 2021.
So that’s a pretty big problem.
To commemorate that opportunity, Nate Diaz humbly suggested using Instagram to start the era of Super Fight. And what do you know? He’s not really wrong about it.
“UFC 202 Diaz vs McGregor 2: The Beginning of the Super Fight Era,” Nate wrote. “Welcome Paul sisters and YouTube Floyd all over the world. Ariel Helwani, it’s a new era when I said to change the game. I may not be able to get credit, but I’m a relative of my mother Before I fight Connor, I also remember that he was the biggest name he ever fought. “
He also went to Twitter to claim that the series with McGregor wasn’t really 1-1, as official records stand.
He ended up with chalk
I didn’t even thank you for that last fight
He’s still far behind, but it’s Gucci

After McGregor returns from a bad leg break that suffered from Dustin Poirier in July, the third battle between the two is huge and arguably the perfect match to hold in the end. .. What do you think, Maniacs? Are you interested in rubber matches five years from now?
