Nate Diaz wasn’t impressed with Conor McGregor’s performance at UFC257.
At the UFC257 main event last night at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Dustin Poirier’s first KO loss, Diaz, who has never suffered a clean KO loss throughout his career, said, “The Notorious. Was ripped. ..
All these guys always end ♂️
— Nate Diaz (@ NateDiaz209) January 24, 2021
“These guys are always over,” Diaz posted on Twitter after the fight.
McGregor got off to a good start in the first round, but struggled to deal with Poirier’s leg kick as the fight progressed. “Diamond” cut off McGregor’s lead leg, then punched the fence, set a knockout finish, and finished the Irishman at 2:32 in the second round.
The two are now tied 1-1 as McGregor wants a rematch after recovering from a leg injury.
Diaz is also associated with “The Notorious” one by one, but the former doesn’t seem to be interested in the trilogy match. Diaz finally fought in UFC 244, inflicting Jorge Masvidal on the third round of TKO defeat (doctor suspension) and failing to win the “BMF” title. Diaz’s only other TKO loss fell into the hands of Josh Thompson in 2013, but the Californians did not lose consciousness. His brother Nick Diaz threw a towel in the second round.
