Recording: Ballet superstar Natalia Osipova (pictured) performed three pieces with choreographer and contemporary dancer fiancé Jason Kittelberger.
NFTs are unique cryptographic tokens, essentially computer files that show proof of authenticity.
Tokens, or digital ownership certificates, are used to sell works of art for £ 50m and tweets for £ 2.1m.
An internationally acclaimed dancer, the 35-year-old performed three pieces with choreographer and contemporary dancer fiancé Jason Kittelberger.
They want to use that revenue to set up their own dance company. Works – performance videos – will be available for bidding at the auction house Bonhams until December 10.
The buyer gets a digital copy of the video and a proof of ownership. These can be retained or sold. The two performances from Ballet Giselle start at £ 8,000.
A couple of modern duet Left Behind performances start at £ 30,000.
