Nikola “NiKo” Kovac, the latest acquisition of G2 Esports, turned out to be a great decision for the team as they have already broken the “French curse” by winning the BLAST Premier Fall 2020. Adapting to the team, in a recent interview with Dexelt, the upcoming tournament NiKo revealed the names of the players participating in the chopping board. One of them will be out of the lineup by the end of the year.
NiKo talks about who G2e sports could kick
As soon as G2 Esports announced NiKo, the biggest question that came to mind was who would leave the team and give way to newcomers. Early reports suggested that it was Francois “AmaNEk” Delaunay to get the boot, but so far G2 Esports has been running a roster of six people, so no one has deleted it. Hmm.
In an interview, NiKo revealed that G2 Esports is currently trying both Francois “AmaNEk” Delaunay and Audric “JaCkz” Jug to see which one is right for the team. He explained that G2 Esports would take turns between the two players to see which one was better suited for that role. This means that JaCkz will replace AmaNEk at the ongoing IEM Beijing 2020. The latter was seen playing sideways at the BLAST Premier Fall. 2020.
This seems to be in line with the information revealed by the organization by officially knowing the names of the players in the danger zone from NiKo. Both French rifles will have enough time to prove themselves, as there are still plenty of tournaments left before the end of the year.
