Nintendo Switch System Update 11.0.0 has been released

A major update for Nintendo Switch has been released today. Bump the system firmware to version 11.0.0.

The Nintendo Switch Online icon has been added to the home menu to allow you to transfer screenshots to your mobile device or PC. If multiple downloads are pending, you can choose which game to download first. There are 12 new user icons and more.

-Access all Nintendo Switch Online services, from getting the latest information to checking your membership status. * This feature is not available in all countries / regions.

A new feature has been added to the Saved Data Cloud that automatically downloads backed up saved data.

-If you use software that has the same Nintendo Account linked to multiple systems, the saved data backed up from one console will be automatically downloaded to the other system.
* To use this feature[システム設定]>[データ管理]>[データクラウドの保存]Must be enabled in.
* The saved data will not be downloaded automatically unless the saved data of the software exists in the console. Only for the first time, the user needs to manually download the saved data.
* You must have a Nintendo Switch Online membership to use the Save Data Cloud service.

Save data

A new trend feature has been added to the user page.

-Users can see which software their friends are playing and which software they have recently started playing.
You won’t see information about your friends whose online status is set to be invisible to anyone.

Users can now transfer screenshots and videos from albums to smart devices.

-Users can wirelessly connect their smart device to Nintendo Switch to transfer screenshots and videos stored in albums.

-For screenshots, users can transfer up to 10 screenshots and 1 video capture at a time.
* To connect, the user must use a smart device to scan the QR code displayed on the Nintendo Switch screen.
