Stemming from Nintendo leak today And an internal document was found revealing the overall “Giga Leak”, early game plans on the Wii, and canceled projects.

Some very interesting titles are listed, to say the least. One of the highlights is the Intelligent Systems Metroid game, which was released after Metroid Prime. Dance Dance Revolution: It seems that the sequel to Mario Mix was once being considered.

By courtesy of MondoMega, here’s a complete summary of the items contained in the documentation (including tips for released games):

  • Wii “Tennis”. Probably folded into Wii Sports.
  • Excite truck is known as “the toughest race in the world”. The note says, “A racing game that looks like a 4WD track version of Excitebike with realistic graphics.” I think they really thought they should put excitement in the title.
  • Project Hammer is listed as “Hammerman”. “We are aiming to create a Shin Sangoku Musou type game that will be sold in North America,” the note states.
  • Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn is simply called “Fire Emblem GC2”. “We are going to increase the movie part that was popular with users in the GC version.”
  • The unreleased n-Space game Sphere is mentioned. “Female spy infiltrate. Metal Gear-like switching between multiple remote cameras.”
  • “Metroid” developed by Intelligent Systems. The memo says, “Please release after Metroid Prime.”
  • “Project X” by Retro Studios. “An action game featuring the Shake of Ocarina of the Legend of Zelda.. “
  • “Night Wars” by Kuju; “Assault !! A fantasy-based strategy using the assets of Famicom Wars.”
  • Super Smash Bros. is listed as “Project Sora” developed by HAL and Game Arts.
  • “Sword fighting theme” developed by Y’s K
  • Mario Strikers Charged (called “Super Mario Strikers 2”) was deliberately aiming for the EU’s launch first, and for the launch title (missed).
  • “Revo R” by HAL. The notebook says, “Aiming for pop art style graphics.”Genres listed as racing
  • Wii’s “Jump Super Stars”? The developers are listed as Ganbarion.
  • Wii’s “DDR Mario 2”. The developer is Konami.
