November mileage decreased 10.3% year-on-year

Ministry of Transport (DOT) report:

All roads and road traffic in November 2020 changed by -11.1% (-28.9 billion vehicle miles) compared to November 2019. This month’s travel is estimated to be 231.6 billion vehicle miles.

Seasonally adjusted vehicle mileage in November 2020 was 244.8 billion miles, or -10.3%. (-28.2 billion vehicle miles) Decrease from November 2019. It also represents a -0.7% decrease (-1.6 billion vehicle miles) compared to October 2020.

Cumulative travel in 2020 changed by -13.7% (-410 billion vehicle miles). The cumulative annual estimate is 2,583.1 billion vehicle mileage travel.

During the Great Depression, mileage declined and 12-month rolling fell below a record high of 85 months.

The mileage dropped sharply in March and actually collapsed in April.
