November vehicle sales fell to 12.9 million SAAR

Word auto release Estimates for light vehicle sales in November. Wards Auto estimates November 2021 sales to be 12.86 million SAAR (seasonally adjusted annual rate), down 1.0% from October sales and down 19.0% from November 2020.

This was below the consensus estimate of 13.2 million SAAR.

The impact of COVID-19 was great, and April 2020 was the worst month.

Since April 2020, sales have increased, approaching 2019 (previous year of the pandemic).

However, Earlier this year, sales declined due to supply problems. It seems that the “bottom of the supply chain” was in September, but sales in November were disappointing.
