Nvidia 20GB RTX 3080 Ti and 12GB RTX 3060 leaked from Asus

Nvidia launched the RTX 30 series in September at a surprisingly low price, but the lineup wasn’t complete with the RTX 3070, 3080, and 3090 alone. Rumors and whispers did not instill confidence. I first made fun of the 20GB upgrade of the RTX 3080 and then immediately removed it.But now it looks like a graphics card isIn fact, along the way, Asus leaked the coveted RTX 3080 Ti with over 20GB of memory.

Two models of the RTX 3080 Ti, set to arrive as part of Asus’ flagship ROG Strix series, have been found on the company’s graphics card support page by the known Leaker HXL (also known as). Twitter 9550pro.. These weren’t the only nuggets found. The database also listed two entries for the RTX 3060, which will have 12GB of GDDR6 memory. It was previously discovered by Igor’s Lab.

Adding fuel to the fire, these entries were removed even though they weren’t leading anywhere at the time of the live.

The “O20G” and “O12G” models are probably factory overclocked “OC Editions” that Asus is accustomed to, but the other two could be standard versions where the company hasn’t pushed the watch to the limit. ..

If the truth is about these leaks, the RTX 3060 will be placed in a strange place compared to the 8GB RTX 3060 Ti, 8GB RTX 3070, and 10GB RTX 3080 already on the market. According to a previous report, it seems that there is a 6GB RTX 3060 in the works that will be seamlessly inserted into the roster according to normal logic, but there is no sign here.

On the other hand, the confirmed RTX 3080 Ti is best considered as a stripped RTX 3090. With 24 GB of memory and a high price of $ 1,499 / £ 1,399, it’s a card that’s more professional than gamers. But without official words from Nvidia or its board partners, for now it’s best to take this information with just a little salt.
