Oduff Owe signs new contract with Ravens – NFL Sports

Ravens has announced that Pick Odahu Owe, the first round of rookie, has officially signed his rookie contract.

As athletic Jeff Zrebiek pointed out, Baltimore still has two draft topics to sign the contract. The third round of Georgia Guard’s Ben Cleveland and the third round of SMU Defensive Back’s Brandon Stephens.

Owe was the latter of two first round picks by Ravens. 2021 NFL draft.. Baltimore, who was ranked 27th overall, chose Rashodo Bateman, a wide receiver from Minnesota. Then, in 31st overall, Ravens drafted an athletic edge rusher from Pennsylvania State University.

Owe failed to record a sack in his final season as a Nittany Lion, but don’t fool you that he can’t get after a quarterback. Owe is a rare athlete in a position with a strange combination of size and speed. At 6 feet 5 inches and about £ 260, Owe ran a fiery 4.3940-yard dash on Pennsylvania State University’s Pro Day. He also had a 39.5 inch vertical jump and a 134 inch long jump.

Owe’s unusual athleticism appears on the tape, but his first step from Snap remains a lot desired by someone with his incredible traits. Baltimore is confident that it can be fixed and Owe can be shaped into an NFL-level elite edge defender. With the loss of free agents veterans Matthew Judon and Yannick Gakoue, Owe needs to influence the rookie season.

Owe completed his three-year college career with a total of 63 tackles, 13.5 tackles, 7 sack, 2 forced fumbles and 2 pass defenses.
