OnePlus 9 Pro Review-Is Size Important?

Over the past few years, OnePlus series phones have taken a small step towards becoming the best headset for gamers. And 9Pro is OnePlus’s most accomplished effort to date.

It’s more about evolution than revolution, but it’s not a bad thing. All additions and improvements are welcome, even if some are more cosmetic than others.

The Morning Mist finish should look like a hot and humid mirror, for example, but it will attract a lot of fingerprints. However, another important design choice is a wise holdover from previous models, such as the same front curve screen as the OnePlus 9 (for all ranges and purposes).

However, the back feels the same as the back of the OnePlus 8T, except for the obvious camera upgrades. On the back of the OnePlus 9 is a 48MP main sensor, which is part of the quad camera and also provides a 50MP ultra-wide option backup. This was all thanks to our partnership with Swedish camera specialist Hasselblad, and the shots we took were fine. There are snaps that look particularly impressive.

It’s a heavy unit, but it’s certainly a bit lighter than we expected – the front and back gorilla glass provides ample protection from knocks and small drops.

The game is where OnePlus 9 really shines. This photo is sensational regardless of the game, and the visuals boast real pop. The screen easily reduces glare.

With a touch response rate of 360Hz, there were no real performance issues with high-end games on the system. Raising the graphics level to the absolute maximum for high-end titles caused a slight stutter.

A pro-gaming mode that can block notifications and streamline memory is also a welcome addition. Games that lasted 3-4 hours tended to drain the battery, but you can use the included charger to charge the battery in less than an hour.

The audio is also impressive, and stereo speakers provide solid feedback, but headphones make things even clearer and clearer.

The downside is the strange lack of important features that you can usually expect. It’s a shame to omit the headphone jack, but there’s no reason why you can’t insert a memory card to add storage space.

Despite these minor issues, the OnePlus 9 Pro is certainly one of the best options if you want to play games on your mobile phone. It has a sensational screen, boasts enormous power under the hood, and has many other very useful perks.
