Former UFC Star Paige VanZantBare Knuckle Boxing’s debut has a date.
Van Zandt, who fought with the UFC in both strawweight and flyweight for six years, gained popularity in her stint at the hit ABC show “Dancing with the Stars” and in the actual battle in the cage.
After finishing the UFC contract in the first round Loss of submission to Amanda Rivas At UFC 251 she got a lot of attention from several promotions, but she surprised the world of battle by announcing a deal with BFKC.
“I still feel like I have this stigma in MMA. It’s a way to prove to people that I’m just a pretty face, not the way I’m looking at myself at all.” Van Zandt said at the time.. “This is probably the sport with the highest rate of openness for people, and I’m definitely not worried about long-term scars.”
The 26-year-old Van Zandt lost 5-3 in the UFC and lost three of the last four games. Whether she won or lost, her fights all tended to be action, as she won four of her five UFC wins in the finish and two of them in the Fight Night Bonus.
Hart is a Virginia-born boxer with a 4-4-3 professional record. She holds a 1-2 BKFC record and won Randine Eckholm’s fourth round TKO at BKFC 14 in November.
