Players vote and decide to skip voluntary OTA – NFL Sports

However, it’s interesting to note that the team’s statement through the NFLPA points out that despite the almost virtual off-season, it’s an improvement in the quality of play across the NFL last season.

These two rosters are clearly not the same, and injuries were a major factor along with the COVID protocol that affected things, although the overall quality of play in the league may not have deteriorated, especially Denver. Broncos is a change they (and other members of the league) had to make by losing a field representative.

Usually at this point in the off-season, teams gather to lift weights and participate in conditioning work. There will be another OTA set in May to see if the safety protocol is better suited for the player at that particular point in time.

It’s hard to believe that they will collectively vote for opt-out, the way many Denver Broncos players talked about how OTA helped last year. all It’s an off-season activity planned by the team, but we just have to wait and see.

The Seattle Seahawks are already following Broncos, and it’s easy to see how many other teams will do the same.
