Pokemon GO is teasing a curious raid egg. Raid eggs will hatch later tonight.
The game’s social media account began tracking development on Saturday, with the first video of the four videos (so far) teasing the pink egg with a 6-hour countdown. The fans were excited and waited 6 hours before being greeted with a new video. There is now a 44 hour countdown.

Soon, fan speculation went wild and some lofty suggestions were made. Is it Zygarde, a sixth-generation legend made up of many individual cells? Perhaps Niantic introduced it cell by cell? !!
What about Phione, a mysterious fifth-generation mythical creature that Pokemon Go skips when it begins its first sixth-generation arrival this week? Or is it Kecleon, the only third-generation chameleon Pokemon that is now missing in the game?
Surely something big must come after all these teases? Or it may not be.
Fans soon realized that the first teaser included a quick glimpse of the game’s psychic-type Pokemon background, and ruled out all the above speculations. The second teaser also contained a psychic-type creature logo, and the third teaser contained an airplane flying behind the 677 banner.
Pokemon # 677 is the next 6th generation psychic-type creature, Espurr, whose screams can be heard on the 4th latest teaser-confirming that Espurr is certainly a Pokemon. It seems that.
Espurr is a cute creature, but it’s not too powerful or unusual. Fans are a little surprised that they are given a lot of fanfare.
Now, in addition to the last 677, you can hear Espurr’s cry.
Why are they making fun of Espurr so much? If it was a myth or something, I would get it, but Espurr … really? https://t.co/nQSOhYy9bz

Both Espurr and its evolution Meowstic are bipedal cats. The latter species is not unique, but is unusual due to the fact that its male and female variants have different move sets and Pokédex descriptions. And that’s about it!
So why make a fuss? Now, the previous generation has been added to Pokemon Go, with at least one creature released exclusively in the raid and egg (4th generation Synchs, 5th generation Clink), shiny off to grind. There is a version. Espurr seems destined to be the 6th generation version of this.
Pokemon GO celebrates a big week with the imminent introduction of the game’s first-level cap raises, the addition of tomorrow’s season mechanics, and the sixth-generation rollout starting December 2.
Earlier in the month, it was reported that Pokemon Go was in the most lucrative year to date, despite (or because of) the changes it made to adapt to the blockade life. Many of the changes in the pandemic era are guaranteed to remain until at least June 2021.
