The mythical Pokemon Sword code is currently being distributed to US Pokemon Sword and Shield players. The code is included as part of this month’s Pokemon Trainer Club newsletter, so if you sign up before the deadline last month, you should be waiting for an email in your inbox.
Zarde is a new mythical Pokemon from the latest animated movie in the series, “Movie Pokemon: The Secrets of the Jungle.” The Dark / Glass type is level 60, equipped with leftovers, and recognizes close quarters combat, power whipping, roaring, and roaring movements.
To request Pokemon, you need to launch a copy of the sword or shield and follow these steps:
- select Mystery gift From the menu screen
- select Get with code / password
- Follow the prompts to connect online
- Please enter the code you received in the email
This is the first chance for US players to get Zard, but mythical Pokemon was distributed in several European countries last month. If you miss it, you’ll soon have another chance to catch the elusive Rogue Monkey. The Pokemon Company has also announced that it will distribute the Zard Code to European players through the Pokemon Trainer Club newsletter. You must subscribe to our newsletter by December 18th to receive the code. If you already have a Pokemon Trainer Club account, make sure you have selected marketing communications to receive your newsletter.
Currently, Zarde is not the only mythical Pokemon available. All players who transfer Pokemon from Go to Pokemon Home will receive a free bonus, Melmetal, which allows Gigantamaxing. After making the transfer, you will see Melmetal waiting in the Pokemon Home gift box.
In other Pokemon News, a new Max Raid event is underway at Pokemon Sword and Shield. Throughout December, players are more likely to encounter certain Fire and Ice Pokemon such as Weavile, Tartonator, Cantonian Rapidash, Gigantama Maxla Plus and Sentis Corch. February 2021 also celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Pokemon series, and the Pokemon Company has already begun to tease some kind of anniversary celebration.
