Pro Wrestling Tees releases statement after recent security breach – WWE Sports

Shortly after the November security breach, Pro Wrestling Tees issued a statement.

According to a statement on the site, “a small portion of your credit card number was compromised,” but Pro Wrestling said, “We couldn’t find any evidence that your current personal information was compromised.”

“The privacy and protection of our clients’ personal information is an issue we take very seriously. Please allow this to act as a notification of recent data incidents at Pro Wrestling Tees. The information has not been misused, but we would like to provide you with details about the resources available to protect your identity from incidents, responses, and potential misuse.

What happened

On November 1, 2021, Pro Wrestling Tees was notified by law enforcement that a small portion of your credit card number was infringed. We immediately conducted an extensive investigation of the system and concluded that the malware virus was the cause of the breach. We have worked with advanced forensic vendors to remove malware viruses from your system. No evidence was found that the current personal information was leaked.

What information was included

We provide this notice with great care in case someone actually views or accesses your information, including your full name and credit card information.

What we are doing

We took steps to deal with it immediately after it was discovered, such as investigating what happened and how it happened. Secured the system. We also reviewed our internal data management and protocols and implemented enhanced security measures to prevent the recurrence of this type of incident.

In addition, we provide personal information theft prevention services through IDX, a data breach and recovery service expert. IDX ID protection services include 12 months of credit and CyberScan monitoring, a $ 1,000,000 reimbursement policy, and a fully managed identity theft recovery service. With this protection, IDX helps solve problems when IDs are compromised.

IDX personnel are available Monday-Friday, Pacific Time, from 6 am to 6 pm. The registration deadline is March 15, 2022.

Again, there is no evidence that your information has been misused at this time. However, we recommend that you take full advantage of this service.

Detailed instructions for registering detailed information can be found in the enclosed Recommended Procedures document. Also, please do not discard this letter as you will need to refer to the registration code at the top of this letter when registering.
