Purdue University’s Ag-Celerator program has invested $ 200,000 in two ag startups for graduates.
Insignum AgTech and Verility Inc. Both received $ 100,000 from an innovation fund to expand the technology of the industry.
Insignum AgTech creates biotechnology plants that turn purple to warn growers of early infections. The company is currently developing technology for use in corn and plans to expand to additional crops.
Verility Inc. is a global animal health platform that provides fertility analysis to help growers improve fertility.
