Pure PlayStation Plays: Week 238

Happy December! Do you know what that means? It’s time to open the Advent calendar!

Now that the heat of Christmas is approaching us, Christmas decorations are socially accepted, correct? I didn’t start tinkering around the guf last week …
Unfortunately, this month may be a little different from the rest of the year, but let’s take a look at the bright side. You can still wear a doky elf hat, buy lots of candy canes, and see Home Alone again for countless hours.

We can’t forget the most important of all-whether it’s direct or by mail, you’ll still get that suspicious Christmas jumper from family relationships. Hah, Some things don’t change …

Let’s put a jingle in the main event and see what everyone is doing this weekend.

Jason Fry

While waiting for the release of Cyberpunk 2077, I try to catch up with the games I missed this year. Going back and forth between Ghost of Tsushima and some others. One of them, Assassin’s Creed Valhara, could win the highest award from me for packing a lot of content into the game. No matter what you play, it’s a good time to be a gamer.

Stuart McLean

I continue to advance into a fairly decent Immortals Fenyx Rising for review, and for now it’s more than entertaining me. I’m also ready for Assassin’s Creed Valhara untouched. With cyberpunk in the immediate vicinity, everything will be a very busy weekend game.

Max Everett

We have a workload of reviews to get done, so we’ll start playing through on Friday. 13th: PS4 Killer Puzzle, I’m a movie fan, so check its fares (note the reviews) and plan to play Chicken Police: Paint It Red and Double Pug Switch on Xbox One. After them I chill in Runescape and Modern Warfare, have it.

Jeremy Peterson

I’ve played the side-scrolling stealth action game Wildfire for a few days and it’s pretty cool and unexpected in all the right ways. The review should be done soon. We have also finished reviewing Oculus Quest’s Contractors VR. Spoiler Note: That’s great! That VR shooter will get over me until Respawn’s Medal of Honor drops on Oculus next week. I can’t wait! Speaking of unidentified enthusiasm, does cyberpunk respond to hype? I’m trying to find out …

Hannah Ellis

Dragon Quest XI Bypass Echoes release date delivery apparently means next Wednesday at the earliest of the Christmas month. So, besides updating the delivery update page almost all the time, I will walk around the beautiful world of Okami HD a little more. But that’s not a bad thing. Because the brush mechanics are very addictive (and impressive), this means that they all have a silver lining.

Yasmine Hubbard

This week we want to minimize our gaming efforts. why? Because Keanu Reeves is playing the game … that means Cyberpunk 2077 is finally coming out next week! Joking aside, I’m really excited about the arrival of the game, but strangely nervous. That’s why I’m planning to play a ghost runner I bought at Black Friday Hall this week. Hopefully it will provide a short but sweet experience.

Chris Harding

I have a lot to do, so I don’t know where to start. We still have two weeks to get the PS5 and Series X to the door, so we’ll use the Series S and Immortals Fenyx Rising to get the most out of that time. This is great for small consoles. Jez has strongly armed me to buy yet another VR shooter for the quest, so I’ll be going with him for a few rounds in Contractors VR. After sweating and vowing, go back to your desk and put a review and video together for your enjoyment.
