Ubisoft has announced a new line of Rainbow Six Siege bundles that will directly benefit the charity group. This initiative is called Sixth Guardian, and the first initiative is a set of cosmetic items for Doc. All revenue from the bundle goes to Able Gamers, a group that specializes in making games accessible to people with disabilities.
“AbleGamers is honored to partner with Ubisoft to support players with disabilities with this amazing sixth Guardian bundle,” said Steven Spohn, CEO and Peer Support Director of AbleGamers. “We, the members of the Rainbow Six community, fight social isolation and improve the quality of life for people with disabilities by providing them with the equipment and knowledge they need to play in the virtual world we love. No more excitement to participate in the quest for. So much. “
The bundle itself features new uniforms, weapon skins, charms and headgear for the FPS game Defender Doc, all in Able Gamers orange, white and gray color schemes. Doc’s face is not covered with the surgical mask pulled down. He wears a short-sleeved bulletproof vest over a cold weather top with cuffs, all made with a tiger-striped camouflage pattern accented with a badge displaying the new 6th Guardian logo.
“We recognized the opportunity to mobilize the Rainbow Six Siege community on key issues and decided to launch Sixth Guardian,” said Karen Lee, Siege Lead Community Developer, creator of the Sixth Guardian program. “Our players were very passionate and wanted to provide them with an easy and effective way to support great organizations like AbleGamers.”
AbleGamers connects gamers with disabilities with the tools they need to fully participate in video games. Charities offer custom equipment, such as adaptive controllers, to find a way for anyone to play, regardless of the type of disability. Players never pay to support Able Gamers, so it’s important to raise money through programs such as Sixth Guardian and last month’s #Unlocktober campaign.
The Sixth Guardian bundle can be found in the Rainbow Six Siege in-game store or the Ubisoft online store.
