Collaboration with musicians is not uncommon in the video game industry (we are still shivering when we remember something like this: Chris Cross: Make My Video And Aerosmith-Heavy Revolution X) And it seems that there was almost a similar team-up between Nintendo and the good old Yeezy himself.
Former Nintendo president Reginald Fiss Aim explained at the E3 show a few years ago that Kanye West visited Nintendo’s booth and chatted with the one and only Shigeru Miyamoto. Following this mind-to-heart meeting, West later invited Reggie to a meeting at his fashion business office, and his wife Kim Kardashian also attended – putting the former Nintendo president in a fairly tight place:
Some of them were talking about what he was doing. He was experimenting with video game content. He wanted to react to it. He comes out and says, “I want to work with Nintendo.” Various projects were underway at Nintendo and there was no possibility of doing anything with Kanye, so I had to find a way to politely decline this opportunity to work with him. I said to him, “Kanier, you don’t want to work with us because we’re tough, we’re hard. All we do is seek the best content. We are not the type of partner you want to work with. “And he looks at me and says,” Reggie, you are the type of partner I want for that very reason! ” It’s like “Oh my god”.
Kanye is very passionate about video game space and he is a creator.
