Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick has identified three songs that may solve the club’s ongoing problems in the middle of the game.
Ralf Rangnick was the first United to win the Premier League match against Crystal Palace last Saturday, winning 1-0.
After the match, the 63-year-old praised midfielder Fred and Scott McTominay, but urged both players to cut a sloppy square pass from the match.
“They made one, two or three mistakes, especially in the first half, with two square passes, one from Scott and the other from Fred,” he said.
“I don’t like that kind of ball in the midfield in those positions. But overall, when other teams have the ball, both Fred and Scotty are almost in that kind of football. it is perfect.
However, Rangnick seems to have already turned to replacing one or both of the players before joining the Red Devils.
According to ESPN, a German coach told United’s boss that he sees the midfield as a major area of weakness during job interviews.
The report explained why Ralf Rangnick needed to strengthen the midfield before scouts scrutinized Leeds midfielder, Kalvin Phillips, Dortmund star, Jude Bellingham, and RB Leipzig’s Amadou Haidara. Added.
Rangnick reportedly selected Bellingham’s Dortmund teammate Erling Haaland as the player the club should consider signing.
United has a long-standing interest in Haaland, who scored 74 goals in 72 Dortmund games, and may participate in the Norwegian Star bid war in the summer. Some of Europe’s top teams are also interested in contracting with him.
However, Rangnick has identified the player he wants to sign, but both he and the club are expecting a quiet January window, and so far the call is prioritized.
