Report: Caden Clark joins RB Leipzig in 2022 – Soccer Sports

New York Red Bulls midfielder Caden Clark is reportedly scheduled to start in Germany’s Bundesliga and become the next young American to jump to Europe.

17-year-old Bundesliga side RB Leipzig contract is imminent According to a report by The Athletic, A contract to maintain the contract with the Red Bulls for the 2021 MLS season. This is similar to what former Red Bulls midfielder Tyler Adams, who currently belongs to RB Leipzig in the third season, did.

According to the report, the move to RB Leipzig was agreed before Clark signed NYRB II in February 2020. Clark was 18 years old and remained on the USL Championship side until he qualified to play professionally outside the United States.

Impressed by his 12 USL Championship appearances, Clark scored three goals and assisted five. This gave him a chance at Red Bull in October, scoring goals in each of the first two games and making his debut.

Clark finished his first MLS season with seven appearances and a 300-minute shyness. He also started a playoff defeat to the Red Bulls Columbus Crew and scored.

With his move to Germany, he became the latest MLS product to jump to the Bundesliga and joined the NYCFC Academy’s product, Joseph Scally, who recently moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach.
