Rob Font is ready to take the next step with the UFC victory – MMA Sports

Rob Font is doing everything for him right now.

Font has won four straight wins and will face Jose Aldo at UFC’s main event this Saturday at ESPN.

Headlines and main event billing are suitable for fonts that have beaten former UFC champion Cody Garbrandt and current Verator title holder Sergio Pettis.

Overall, the font is 19-4 and the record contains the 9-3 mark in the octagon. He defeated Garbrandt, Pettis, Marlon Moraes, Thomas Almeida and some of his weight class top fighters.

But Aldo is another beast.

Former UFC Champion Aldo ruled the division for five years and was the first UFC Featherweight Champion.

However, this match will be played in bantamweight. And that was a great fixture for Font.

He had no problem going 25 minutes for the first time in his career with Garbrandt. It marked one former UFC champion in his resume and his winning column.

Font also achieved the first round finish of former World Series of Fighting Champion Moraes, summarizing a three-round victory over Pettis and Ricky Simon.

His three UFC defeats were due to top-level talents in Rafael Asunkao, Pedro Munhos and John Lineker. Two of them were decisions, and Munoz was able to fix the submission.
