Royal Tower Defense Review | TheXboxHub

With the introduction of the new generation of Xbox, I think you’re worried about the same thing as I do. This means that there may be a break in the flow of small, independent video games that look like garbage, which can be purchased cheaply.Well, if you’re worried, fortunately the prison game is here to reassure your mind Royal Tower Defense.. With graphics that cost just a few pounds or a few dollars and haven’t been seen since the original Remmings months ago, our concerns seem to be misguided.

First, in Royal Tower Defense, you’ll find yourself playing as a member of the royal family, the ruler of the land threatened by the expansionist policy of his neighbor, Orc. Apparently, they have run out of all the resources of their kingdom and are looking at our resources instead. We sent diplomats to talk to the orcs, but they never came back, so it seems that the only languages these orcs can understand are the languages of war. Well, never let us say we’re afraid of a bit of a fight, so the scene is set up for a confrontation between ourselves and the power of Oakdom.

As you might have collected from the title of the game, Royal Tower Defense has set traps and hoped that their blind desire for our natural resources would keep them going on these oaks. I’m giving a blow. And fortunately, this is exactly what happens. This results in a series of top-down encounters at each level in the various paths the enemy takes to reach the tower we are defending. The title of the game is nothing, if not literally. Now, this tower can hit 10 hits before it collapses and fails the level, so you need to build a defense to keep enemies away. Building a defense near a pinch point, for example, is most effective at minimal cost, as there is only one place where you can build a defense.

As you can imagine, this game can be played like any other tower defense game ever created. Establish a boundary with a certain amount of gold at the beginning of the level. Next, additional gold will be awarded for each successfully stopped enemy unit. This allows you to build more defenses and kill faster.

Royal Tower Defense Review

There are four basic types of defenses you can buy. The cheapest is the Archer Tower, which shoots arrows at enemies within range. Although the basic damage is low, the detailed stack of these archery towers is very good at weakening the enemy’s health. The second is the type of castle where soldiers come out and protect the road. Up to 3 soldiers can be present at one time, but these have no effect on flying enemies. Also, if you raise the level, you will soon lose to the enemy unit and it will be a lot of garbage. The third is the magic tower. By default, it uses ice magic to damage enemy units and slow them down. Thus, the ice tower inside the archery tower slows down the enemy and stays in the kill zone longer, so take it as my professional tip on how to tackle the royal tower defense first. The last unit is a kind of mortar. It does a lot of damage, but it seems to fire about once every two weeks, so it’s useless when faced with fast-moving enemies.

From there, share information that you don’t think the game needs. As you progress, you can upgrade the units you deploy to make them more powerful. Once upgraded, the Archery Tower will be 200 gold, and once you reach a certain level, you can upgrade to another 350 gold. This isn’t mentioned anywhere in the game, and I happened to find it because I was wondering why the enemy passed through all my defenses completely intact. Please note that each unit can be upgraded this way.

Royal Tower Defense is okay from there: build, shoot, destroy. But this is by no means a spectator, not a range of imagination. In fact, I’m playing Amiga’s sweat-free game here. You see, without lying, the orcs in this game made me double-take. You may have sworn to be a lemming. The tower is dull, the landscape is uninspired, and the enemy’s design is funny. .. The oak becomes plain by holding a shield or riding something that looks like a car on its feet. Oddly, there are flying fish for some reason. In general, the overall look is pretty funny. The music is pretty good, and the sound effects in the game are as loose as the graphics, but it’s just hanging together.

Royal Tower Defense Xbox

So, do you think a game like Royal Tower Defense that looks bad, sounds pretty good, has the worst tutorial system ever, and is generally unstimulated in terms of presentation must be a bad game? ?? Well, it’s not that fast. There is a risk that it sounds like Simon Cowell, but it does include the X Factor. This is a mysterious and vague thing that keeps you wanting to play. My usual reaction after losing level was to resume immediately and try to improve. The challenge is steep as each level is scored from 3 stars. 3 stars will only be awarded for perfect runs. The best you can hope for is 2 stars, as if one orc had reached the tower. It is this hook that keeps you coming back.

Unfortunately, another annoyance is the ability of enemy units to appear to have to merge. If you think you’ve killed one unit, another will suddenly appear, intact, and appear next to the tower from the ashes of the killed unit. It is almost impossible to know when this will happen, so only overwhelming firepower will save the day. However, the act of balancing the desire to make money to upgrade and the need to build new defenses to strengthen existing defenses makes the game somewhat attractive. .. There is only one mistake away from failure. Learning which defenses to place where is a great motivation for doing better.

Overall, Royal Tower Defense Xbox Is a game that’s bigger than the sum of its parts, but if you’re looking for the right challenge, you can do much worse. It’s not a spectator, but the gameplay is shining and the hooks it offers are certainly real. Due to its low asking price, it is worth trying it out.
